After years of coaching leaders, we know that most leaders learn the nuances of public sector leadership through on-the-job experience. While the lessons they learn are valuable, they often take time and can be hard-won - we’ve heard many say, “I wish I had seen that one coming sooner.”

Thankfully, the lessons of public sector leadership needn’t be learned the hard way. In fact, the “soft skills” of leadership and the mechanics of public sector decision-making can be taught through sharing the stories of those who have lived it.

We created Inside Public Sector Leadership programs to help experienced and emerging leaders learn from conversations between current & former public sector leaders, politicians, academics and media experts about how to navigate the unwritten rules of Canadian public sector leadership and develop a strong competency in political acumen.
